We run an Auskick program in Term 2 so TTGDFC is not always seen on the Auskick registrations page.

What is Auskick?

Auskick is a great way for boys and girls to learn the skills of Australian Football. Through weekly coaching sessions your child will learn the skills of the game, be part of a great club and play non-contact AFL games with their friends.  This program is aimed at kids turning 5, 6 or 7 in 2021 - If you have older kids that are keen to participate please contact our Registrar for details - ttgdfcjnrregistrar@gmail.com

Carnival #4

Carnivals

TTGDFC have worked closely with local Clubs to arrange four interclub Auskick carnivals for our Auskickers.

Club guernseys are loaned by the Club to our Auskickers for each carnival.  These are a great series of fun outings for the Auskick group.

Carnivals were based on approx 3 games per oval, 20 minute game slots (2 x 7 minute halves with 2 minutes half time, 4 minutes change over) Aim for all kids to be playing in at least three games per carnival.

The Auskick Grid Game philosophy is used for all games (no zones, rotate the ruck, encourage involvement from all involved, marks to be paid regardless of distance etc. no tackling, no shepherding, no grabbing/knocking the ball out of hands.

Cost

$100 when registering  (can opt to use the Sports Voucher) plus $25 to be paid to the club

Total = $125 without Sports Voucher or just the $25 to the club if you use the Sports Voucher.

Presentation Day  - Late September

At the end of the season all Auskick participants will be awarded a participation trophy.  Presentation Day is held after the season has finished in late September and all players and families are encouraged to attend and celebrate the end of the season.  The day includes trophy and award presentations for all players, show rides, food, drinks and entertainment, dates and program to be finalised during the season.

Next Year

You might think we are looking too far forward but the season will happen quickly.   If your child turns 7, in 2022 then they must do Auskick to qualify for U7 Minis, naturally they are more than welcome to repeat Auskick again in 2022.
