Hi all,

Well, with barely a minute to catch our collective breath after season 2009, the 2010 season is already on our doorstep!

There have been some major developments going into 2010, and I thought now would be the ideal time to keep everyone in the loop. The new clubroom development is coming on at a rate of knots, and is looking great!

On the field, the A and B Grade squads are looking sharp, and should be even more focussed after their pre-season camp at Oakbank next weekend (Friday and Saturday nights). If anyone is available to volunteer their time to help with meals, etc. feel free to contact me.

Exciting times are ahead for our C and D Grade sides too. I can now officially announce that we will be playing in the Division 7/ 7 Reserves from season 2010. With two sides pulling out of the competition, TTG and Modbury have both stepped up to Division 7. This will make for some great contests in the seasons to come and will provide greater exposure for our C and D sides, not to mention less hassle for our trainers, support staff and spectators as both teams will be playing at the same ground every week!

I also wanted to confirm all coaches for season 2010;
A Grade - Shannon Vansoest
B Grade - Glen Virgo
C Grade - Mark Jansan
D Grade - Kevin Tait
Under 18's - Steve Connelly

Draft draws for all grades except Under 18's have been released, and at this stage round 1 will look like this;
10th April; A and B Grade @ TTG v Payneham Norwood Union
10th April; C and D Grade @ Mawson Lakes v Mawson Lakes (formerly St Pauls)
The bye rounds for Division 1 will be 12th June and 7th August, with Division 7 having a bye on the 12th June only.
Trial matches are being finalised at the moment, and I will provide more information as it comes to hand.
